RES encourages staff to share their skills and knowledge outside work and we support a number of charitable, voluntary and educational initiatives. All our projects go through extensive community consultation to ensure that they bring benefits to local people and businesses and we are proud of the positive relationship we enjoy with the public as a result.

Charity

RES offices worldwide raise money for national and local charities selected annually by staff.  A variety of fundraising activities are undertaken each month, from quiz nights, raffles, and Dress Down Fridays to abseiling, sponsored haircuts and a Red Nosed Wind Turbine.

Corporate Sponsorship

RES is proud to announce a 3-year corporate sponsorship package for the Ararat Football Netball Club (AFNC), commencing in the 2010 season.

Known as the Ararat Rats, the AFNC is a Major League Club with over 170 players in the Wimmera League. The club has senior, reserves and junior football teams, plus senior and junior netball teams.

Rats Secure New Sponsor

ARARAT - RES Australia has announced a three year corporate sponsorship package for the Ararat Football and Netball Club.

The sponsorship will commence in time for the 2010 Wimmera Football League season which is set to kick off on April 10.

RES developer Sedat Erol said the company was proud to support both junior and senior football and netball in Ararat. "RES Australia would like to thank the Ararat Football Netball Club for this opportunity to support both men's and women's sport and we look forward to our ongoing participation in the local community", he said.

"We also wish the Ararat Rats a very successful season."

Ararat has a bye in round one of the Wimmera League competition. Its first match of the year will be a night clash against Horsham United on April 17.
